Annual Corporate Day
On the 9th of September, the annual corporate day with Frankie Hernandez, one of our members & his 'Cincinnati Global Underwriting ' colleagues enjoyed a great afternoon of bowls along with some of our members. It got quite competitive at times, but it was a great friendly atmosphere as always.

Tony Butcher, Representing England!

Congratulations to our Croquet captain Tony Butcher who represented England V Scotland and recieved his England shirt. Tony is sitting in the front row, right hand side. Here is what he has to say below:
Unfortunately, England lost 15 - 8 to Scotland last weekend, but quite a few matches were very close.
I won my first ever doubles game and first ever singles game for England, and enjoyed the experience, and learned a lot.

The highly prestigious Southend & District Bowls Competitions 2025 took place over the weekend of 6th & 7th of September.
Prittlewell had Carolyn Simmonett in the Ladies Singles, who unfortunately came runners up but a brilliant achievement no less for reaching the final.
In the Mens 4s, the 4 Gs won their final with thanks also to Andy Talbot, who replaced George in our semi-final whilst he was on holiday.
In the Mens Triples the 3 Gs became the 1st team to retain the trophy, another fantastic achievement putting Prittlewell BC on the map against very strong competition.

Park Circle : Parren and Beharral shield victories
congratulations to both squads for winning the Park Circle Parren & Beharral Shields this year.
This is now 5 years in a row for both Prittlewell squads.
A tremendous achievement not surpassed by any Park Circle team in the history of these competitions.
